Biography

Dr.Roopa Mathew, currently working as Assistant Professor in Sumatibhai Shah Ayurved Mahavidyalay, Pune, Maharashtra in India, having almost 3 years experience in teaching. Im also the consultant of Kerala Ayurveda Speciality OPD of Sane Guruji Arogya Kendra, Hadapsar, for over an year.
Post graduate in Ayurveda (MD-Kayachikitsa) from the prestigious Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum Kerala, passed out in 2015, achieving the first rank from Kerala University of Health Sciences. Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum, is one of the oldest and most prestigious ayurvedic medical institutions in India, established in 1889.
I have always been passionate about teaching and paper presentations. My research on type 2 Diabetes with hypercholestrolemia , won the prestigious Aryavaidyan Madhava Varrier memorial Gold Medal in the year 2014, for the best PG Paper presentation in State level competition in Kerala. Kottakal Arya Vaidya Sala , needs no introduction, as is considered as Temple of Ayurveda, worldwide. This research article was published in Aryavaidyan , A Quaterly Journal of The Arya Vaidya Sala – KOTTAKAL, 2014.
